How are project estimates made?

Project estimates are based on average completion times gathered from similar past projects. Estimates are usually accurate, but if a project comes in under budget, then client will receive a discount on their final payment. Projects that go over budget as result of a failure on our part to properly estimate completion time are not billed to the client.

I want to change something that has been previously discussed and agreed to, how do I do that?

To inquire about a Change Order Request, you must contact your project manager as soon as possible. The earlier the request is made, the easier and cheaper it will be to make. The project manager will assess how much the change will affect the project, and if necessary, will adjust the time devoted to the project, its delivery date to the client, and payment arrangements (cost and/or date), depending on the severity of the change.

What do you mean by "after hours"?

Members of IDS generally hold another job during the standard 9 - 5 hours of the day, so staff members generally work on projects after 5pm EST, and on weekends. The corporation selects projects that can be worked on remotely from home offices.

How do I contact IDS?

E-mail is the preferred contact method. Clients should contact their project manager directly by their primary e-mail address and/or cell phone. If you are having difficulty reaching your project manager, please send an e-mail to support@intriguingds.com and another member of staff will assist you shortly. For general information and/or to request an estimate fill out our Contact form.

How does payment work?

Checks should be made out to Intriguing Design Studios, Inc. Clients may opt for one of two payment plans: half of the project total at the start of the project and one final payment on delivery for the balance, or one third at the start, one third at the scheduled midway point, and one final payment on delivery. Delayed payments could result in extended project delivery dates.

What is the corporate "green policy"?

IDS makes every effort to reduce its environmental footprint. IDS maintains most documentation digitally, preferring e-mail transactions in most cases to reduce its paper consumption. IDS also enables power-saving features on all of its computer equipment, and properly recycles its equipment at the end of its useful life. As the corporation grows, IDS will be increasingly interested in working to promote environmentally friendly initiatives.

What is the corporate "local first policy"?

IDS believes in working with local businesses and organizations to provide services to the community. When IDS shops for services it tries to shop local first. As the corporation grows, we want to make sure that the local community is growing with us.
